Submission Guide

  1. Each artist may submit up to three entries of their own original work conveying any subject.
  2. ENTRY FEE: £4.00 per item (£3.00 for GA individual members)
  3. Completed entry forms with cheque payable to Gravesham Arts,
    To D. Beven, 31 Central Ave, Gravesend, Kent DA12 5AN
  4. Maximum of three pieces of art work
  5. Completed forms must be received by Friday June 30th 2017

Conditions of Entry

1. All entries must be the artist’s own original work. Two-dimensional art in any medium, including
drawing, painting, collage, textile and traditional printmaking methods (linocuts, etching etc.)
is acceptable. (no digital reproductions, photographs or giclee prints)
2.  The maximum size for all entries (including frame) is 50 x 75 cm
3. All work must be properly framed (except paintings on canvas)and ready to hang with D rings on
the back and string / wire. “Clip frames” are not acceptable for our hanging system
4.  All entries will be judged, but some may not be displayed due to limited space
5.  Your work must be clearly labelled on the back with your name, address, title, medium and price
(or NFS)
6.  In the event of work being sold, we will deduct 15% commission
7. The exhibition will be supervised at all times during opening hours, but it is your own
responsibility to insure your art work, and we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage.
8.  All work must be collected on Sunday July 9 between 5.00-6.00pm
