Inspiral Festival – Kent Connections offers four days of curated walks, art, talks and exploration
within London and North Kent At over 300 miles this unique artist designed trail explores & exposes the
unique connections that crisscross the metropole. Connections & dissonances that range across an
extraordinary diversity of people, places and ideas.

Join an inspiral exploration back through Wollstonecraft’s London. Tickets £5
6-9pm Another Place: Visionary Landscape & City Infrastructure
This evening of talks at Swedenborg House explores visions of the metropole & connections
between outer and inner London, radical politics and walking art. Talks by Ken Worpole,
artists Hayley Newman, Sarah Spanton and Charlie Fox, exploring aspects of our ‘on the
ground’ mapping the metropole. Book tickets in advance for £6
13 October 11am-2pm Explorations Long the Roding River
A walking Tour on the Barking stretch of Inspiral Trail, finishing with a personal encounter
with the Gascoigne Estate. Followed by a picnic lunch at Studio 3 Arts (tickets with lunch £6)
The Magical Imaginal Inspiral Cabaret
Join us for A MAGICAL IMAGINAL INSPIRAL CABARET at Gravesham Arts
6.30pm – 9pm on Friday 13 October – A night of unusual entertainments including a unique range of performances & interventions from: Duo
Mollett and Morris ‘Lost on the Thames!’ – a Magic Lantern epic with pirates, monster, serpents, shipwrecks. Plus a ghostly White Whale, Miyuki Kasahara’s ‘The Portland Dispute’ and guest appearances from Sarah Sparkes, Mr Solo and Anne Robinson. Tickets advance£10; door£12

On Saturday 11am-6.30pm Gravesend & Thames Estuary, enjoy a range of on the ground mapping with a range of artist workshops, talks and curated walks.
Or on Sunday 15 October 11am-5pm join the walk and mapping process on the final Segment of Inspiral trail, from Gravesend to Farningham.
